Baomin Dong earned his PhD in Economics at the Concordia University. His research areas include the theory of industrial organization, international economics, game theory and applications, environmental economics, economic history, and regulatory economics. He published around two dozen of articles on SSCI listed journals, and two books. He provides consulting services to Asian Development Bank over the years.
He has been organizing conferences and/or sessions in influential conferences such as the Asian Meeting of the Econometric Society (AMES), Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory conferences (SAET), Pan-Pacific Game Theory conferences, Chinese Game Theory Society Conference, Chinese Economist Society conference (CES) etc.
